The brief was provided by the YCN as part of their "New Now" creative briefs scheme. The brief was partnered with the charity Shelter and asked designers to develop and produce a social media campaign to change the perceptions that people have about social housing.
I designed a series of motion graphics, GIFS and static posts that could be shared across social media platforms. Using the phrase "We are social housing" I aimed to focus on the sense of community that social housing can provide to young people. I used photography models of people, aged between 18 and 21, that had grown up in social housing and spoke to them about their experiences to gain further insight into the subject.
